I shouldn't use taunting language, but it's kind of interesting. Trust but verify. Then again, the Koran instructs muslims to lie when negotiating with unclean enemies.

Also on Thursday, Channel 2 analyst Ehud Ya'ari reported that Iran had expressed readiness to freeze its uranium enrichment program in return for the lifting of the international sanctions imposed on it.

Citing unnamed Western officials, he said the Iranians had conveyed messages indicating they could accept the latest incentive package offered by the West in return for halting its enrichment program.

Yea. I heard in on the news. I'm not sure being chicken has anthing to do with anything, though.

The news said yhe E.U. has been negotiating with them.

I heard the news too. Bush's term is coming up, Obama has a real shot to win and Israel would rather attack Iran BEFORE a U.S. Iranian sympathizer becomes president. Indeed they are scared.

That would be a great first step, but I wouldn't trust the Iranians at all. These are people that have a history of lying to get what they want, and what they need to continue to terrorize the world. I hope that this could be movement towards agreement, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

The fact that the Iranians took some of or diplomatic corps hostage back in 1979 does not speak well of their intentions. I suppose they were influential in shifting American politics toward the reactionary side of the spectrum. Personally, I don't trust them. Perhaps we will need to get more involved in regime change. It's kind of funny that GWB started his presidency by blasting nation building as ineffective, and has turned to that tool in the waning days of his presidency.

Being a leader of the free world is a tough row to hoe if one is isolated.

The world is a better place when countries are united in concern about global stability.
