Today I took my kids to the Huckleberry Park in the town where we live. There is a big pond where the local ducks and geese live. We left with two baggies of bread in hand and went to feed the quackers!
When we first arrived the duckies were enjoying a leisurely swim!
I tried to capture a photo of my daughter by the tree. She kept saying, "Hurry up Mom."
As soon as my kids got close to the water, the ducks saw the bread and came charging at them at top speed! My son is reaching to get more bread. He couldn't get it out quick enough. He was throwing one little piece at a time and then all the ducks would fight over it!!
The ducks were all really nice to my kids though. I was surprised that Maddie and Aidan weren't even afraid of them at all!
My son is pointing at the ducks. I am thinking he was pointing at this sad little number! I don't know anything about ducks, but this one was sprouting a wig!
Well the duck feeding had almost come to an end! We were out of bread. The goose is coming and he wants bread!
My kids go over and literally STARE at some other kids that still had bread. Well, their sad little faces manipulated a little grandma to give them some more bread!
Back to feeding the ducks again they went!
After they ran out that time, I had to scoop them up and leave before they tried to go begging bread from people around the pond!! ha ha ha ha

Yeah, that one with the wig was really wierd looking!
Next time I take the kids to feed the ducks we are gonna take an entire loaf of bread!!
