My feed just got uglier! Did we know this was coming?

I just published a video, and innocently went back to my namespace as always. 

And then I saw it!  Now, instead of my feed merely saying something like 'Sherry W has published the article 'My feed just got uglier! Did we know this was coming?', it says something like 'An article, 'My feed just got uglier! Did we know this was coming?', was published by Sherry W to Comment Speedway, Your Grandma loves this group, bits and pieces... and so on.  It lists all of the groups to which new articles and images were published!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!  This is such a move in the wrong direction, Gather!  STOP CRAPPING UP MY FEED WITH UNNECESSARY INFO!

Do you all have your feeds turned off? Or maybe I'm just extra particular, ha. It's annoying me because I use the feed to see when my friends have added new items. It's now harder to see who's added what because of the new wording I'm seeing....

Everything looks the same to me... Perhaps you came upon an anomaly caused by the feed problems earlier in the day. (?)
Is that why nothing was working right this morning?

I haven't noticed a change, but I know some of my connections stated my articles weren't in their feeds earlier today...

I ignore the feeds. I hate them still. "They" said I'd get used to them, but nope. I still hate them. Hate them enough to not notice any changes.

I don't look at the feed much, but I wonder if all the extra information has something to do with why gather is running so incredibly slowly. I find I spend more time waiting for pages than reading them at the moment.

I do not pay much attention to the continual feed. I will look at thetop few things and if the interest me I will head there. I hadn't noticed many changes but I'll take a closer look. Gather keeps making these changes claiming that they are "making things better for the members", yet the members do not think so. What is wrong with that picture?

I'm using the feed less these days, and going to specific people or groups. Were you possibly switched to your group feed instead of friend feed?

I am ignoring all of the changes, sine I know they most likely will all change again before I have even figured this current mess out!
