Have you received your stimulus check yet?

I think most Americans should have received their stimulus check,  by next week.  Did you get yours yet?  If yes, did you spend it or save it?  If you didnt get yours yet, will it be a relief to get it, or will you be able to spend on something considered not needed?  We are one of the last groups to get ours.  We plan to use half to pay bills, and the other half will be put away for xmas and other unexpected expenses.

To answer your questions, most is going into the savings, with a small amount taken out for new tires.

Oddly enough, I did not get mine. I got injured on the job last year and couldn't make a child support payment for two months. So...mine went to her. And oddly enough, my parents didn't get theirs because they owed taxes for a $20,000 bonus my mom recieved last year. Had I gotten it though - I was going to buy JVC's new Multimedia/DVD Car stereo. We got ours last week - we put it in the bank. We may use it to pay Credit Card debt or just leave it in savings.

Mine just came yesterday, $1200 dollars. That was the same day that a freak wind rotation blew a bunch of shingles off the roof. Guess what the deductible is for my home-owners insurance for wind and hail damage? un hun, $1370. Want to guess where my stimulus check is going? Humph!

Yeah, it immediately went to the dentist to pay for a crown! Maybe he'll stimulate the economy, because I can't.

I got mine weeks ago. But my son hadn't gotten his yet.

I spent it but I'm not sure what I spent it on. Just everyday living I guess.

My first letter told me I would receiver $300 by May 27. It never came. Then On June 25 I received a letter that I would receive it by June 27. It finally came June 29. I only received $300 because I didn't have what was classed as earned income since I am a retiree. It's better than nothing. I will put it to use on my kitchen update.

Not yet. Did get a letter saying it was coming, $1200. It will go to keep us afloat for awhile til my husband (hopefully) finds a job.

Yes, was schedule for June 6th, received letter on June 10th stating I would receive check by June 6th, finally received check on June 18th. Check is a vague memory at this point, spent most of it getting stuff out of the pawn shop totalling $700 and bought very litte. So much for stimulating the economy. Maybe a second check will allow me to stimulate the economy.

I'm not sure if this applies to me at all. Based on the news articles that I read in the last few weeks....aren't the stimulus checks only for certain groups like Social Security recipients and veterans and such or is there a separate stimulus for regular, everyday working folk? I'm not into politics much and do not keep up to date with all of the bills and plans related to these types of things.
