The Star-Spangle Bunny Needs a Name

Since tomorrow is July 1st, I decided to get my bunny statue ready for Independence Day. While adorning the stonework with its holiday hat, I realized that this little critter needs a name.

I love how Vicky dresses up Ina the Goose in different outfits and I plan to at least decorate the bunny from time to time. So I would like him or her to have a name. 

So help me choose one.

You could call it "Americus Nation" like Natalie Portman named her baby in "Where the Heart Is." That movie was on all weekend, so that's why I thought of it. She said she named her child that because she wanted to give her baby a strong name that meant something.

Oh, yeah, Harvey! At least I think it was Jimmy Stewart, I honestly cannot see that man doing anything so inane. You can tell i never saw the movie. NO, I have not been drinking. Only diet Dr. Pepper, cherry vanilla. Yuck!

I'd go with Thumper from the Bambi movies but he looks just a tad grumpy so you could call him Grumper or some kind of geocaching term that could apply to bunnies too. How about....Bunnicula? It even sounds like a weird strain of flower.
