rule one: never use words
with an ending using 'ing
it's fun to watch birds nesting

it's great to be going birding
or enjoying singing breathing
what a neat thing kayaking
or sailing walking talking
a treasure to be loving
or caring sharing being

rule two: no rhyming
liking timing -- see above
rule three: don't use wording
with an 'ly at the ending
so a poet cannot be duly

he / she shouldn't be dolefully
or woefully contentedly cowardly
be not shyly slyly spryly
