firegold - Dia Calhoun - a book review

This was a young adult book about the Dalraida - a mythical/mystical people from the mountains. They have skills and abilities - horseback riding, hunting, arrow making, etc.
A boy from the valley is tainted with Dalraida blood, perhaps. No one really tells him the truth about his family and he always feels like he's an outsider - blue eyes...
He tries to find his roots - turns out the truth is stranger than he believed.
I recommend it for all ages - sweet story.
