I Goodsearch for the Disabled American Veterans.  I was doing it for Feed the Children, but I changed it today.

Who do you Goodsearch for?

It's easy to delete the search engine bar on your internet browser window and add the
Goodsearch one so you don't even have to think about it (as long as you make sure you have cookies enabled and you have already picked what charity to donate your searches to)

I just did a few searchers for the marquetter County Humane Society. I used to do volunteer work for them. They are a great group.

Or, to compromise (since Nic and I are 'disabled veterans') I'll do one of our computers The Baby James Foundation and the other Disabled American Veterans. :)

Michelle I looked it up for everyone it is one charity at a time but can do two. Here is more about it off their site.

Can users donate to more than one cause?
Yes, of course. Users can support as many causes as they'd like, but only one at a time. You can change the designated organization by clicking on the yellow "clear selection" box and then typing in the name of the new organization.

Donna - no, they don't. I don't download whole toolbars. I just add a small Goodsearch section to my Firefox web browser which already has a search box. It just changes it to Goodsearch instead of anything else.

Now Yahoo on the other hand! I remember how that REALLY slowed my computer down. I'll never download the Yahoo toolbar again! Or Google for that matter, either.

I have it set as my homepage, but I usually end up googling things (in the toolbar). I wish that Goodsearch was partnered with Google rather than Yahoo.

Thanks for the reminder. I used to use goodsearch on my old computer. I forgot about it when I set this computer up. I'm going to fix that very soon!

Ooh yeah I just noticed Amazon on there, it bothers me to not get any cash back or points anywhere from them, so at least when I shop there someone can benefit with a donation! Nice!
