I went to Brampton today, to see my youngest.
She wasn't answering her cell phone though, so I went to my sister's place without her, first... figured she was sleeping in, since I was a bit early anyway.
Got a great welcome at Andrea's ... as soon as Mandy heard my voice calling up the stairs she came running. Jessa!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she yelled. That would be my youngest. Who lives right there in the same city. Who is apparently way more exciting a visitor than Auntie Lee who only gets there once in a while.

The maple leafs in this picture are a remnant from when Jess used to live there.
Andrea's office is a great place to visit.

She had a box of books all ready for me. And then she had 2 more of YA stuff that she said I could have. And THEN we got talking about books suitable for "emerging adults" (like Anthem of a Reluctant Prophet which is now available in paperback, by the way; you should buy it if you haven't yet got it).

All those boxes? More books, of course.

All the books that ended up in my car didn't even make a dent. Ross was just sooooooooooooooo thrilled when I told him there were boxes of books in the car to be brought in; my shoulder is acting up or I'd have done it and hoped he wouldn't notice how many there are this time :)
But they're all, as Tamara pointed out, research. For school. SRSLY!

Haven't seen any books for you yet, Tamara
Moving all those books is a challenge but I couldn't live without my books.
I just do the library for books. Too many years of moving a lot and toting too many books and my reading habit just got way too expensive for me.
WOOT !!!!
