My Daughter is a heroine!

Tonight, I stepped outside to enjoy the evening with my daughter and my dog.  I heard a cry of a frightened animal, but my yard is not large and has a pool.  I investigated and then, decided it was not in my yard, and I couldn't find it.  It was a strange sound almost mechanical.

I went inside, but she wouldn't leave.  She found it.  It was a toad trapped in the drain of our pool.  She pulled it out, and he pee'd on her as if to say thanks.

Good for her. She didn't stop looking and found the troubled animal! I can't believe it peed on her! Funny way of thanking a person! Must've been excited.

Funny how when animals are frightened or excited they pee - (dogs do it too)!
So glad she tracked down the sound and rescued the poor guy!
Probably during all the excitement she never thought to give him a kiss, *sigh*, now we'll never know if he was a prince or not!
