Last week I reported that I had received 2 gift cards as rewards from Walgreens. (I chose the gift card option because they award at extra 10%) I had a $10.00 card and a $2.75 card. Then I printed off a $5 off $20 (Friday only) coupon and headed out to the store.
Purchased: 4 boxes of dried fruit - $1 each - $4.00
1 Loaf Bread (we were out) $1.69
2 bags Hershey's Kisses (on sale + $1 coupon from their rebate booklet) - $4.00
Nail Polish (a real splurge for me!) - $3.49
Olay In-shower Lotion - $4.99
Mountain Dew 12 - pk - 2.75
Total: $21.43 after gift cards, coupon and $5.00 rebate = $3.68!!!! YAY!!!!
Note: I rarely buy soft drinks any more but since I had some extra "free" money, I splurged for my son and son-in-law:-)
