I myself will be voting Obama. I will be voting for him because he said there needs to be change. In my 30 years of living I can not recall so much turmoil. I remember a few year back when health care used to be a major issue, now it is a minor issue that we don't even talk about anymore and not because it was fixed. We don't talk about it anymore because there are much bigger problems. The economy flat out sucks, gas is $4.00 a gallon which is killing us in more ways than just at the pump. The housing crisis is scary, people losing their homes every day, there are so many foreclosures right now. This war in Iraq which I am not completely sure we should have been there is taking a toll on our troops. If the UN would have backed us more and their teams had found weapons of mass destruction I would be a little better with it. I really don't think Sadam was planning anything agaiunst us so this war did not protect us or anyone else. He actually had that country under control which it seems like no one else can do at this moment. If we were to pull out right now that country would be in a major civil war. We do need to pull them out soon though.
The only thing I heard McCain say was that he thought the president now was doing a good job and he would keep going in the same direction. It was something along those lines. I hadn't seen this country any worse in my adult life and don't think I want it to continue the way it is. With him saying that there is no way I could vote for him.
Those are my opinions everyone is welcome to disagree.
Who are you voting for and why?

While we really do need some changes here - your opinion of the economy is right, and we are being crushed by rising costs for everything, which will eventually destroy America. But I am not sure HOW to change things. One lowly U.S. President can't change a thing. The greed and corruption is so deeply engrained in Washington. For all his promises of change I think Obama is going to be powerless to actually change anything.
I really don't know who to vote for at this time. I will wait awhile before I decide.
Maybe I'm getting old, ha ha. Whateva'...... ;-)
For many of the same reasons mentioned.
I will be picking the lesser of two evils.
Maybe we shouldn't believe in the hype, but it's about time we believe in the power of the people and stop letting them run us like a herd of cattle. Obama is the only one who has mentioned giving power to the people. So, I'm voting for him for that reason.
