What is the sweetiest thing your spouse/friend has ever done for you that really made your day or something that really surprised you?

 

My husband is not a romantic guy but lately he's getting really better at it.  He has been texting me with I love you's and it really makes my day.  The sweetiest thing he has ever did for me was when I came home from work(some years ago) he had a line a Hershey's kisses at the door going into our bedroom and on our bed was a heart shaped with Hershey's kisses and that was so sweet to me.

Lets see, I have to think back a bit... sent flowers for no reason, left cute cards in various places, cooked for me, brought desserts, etc.

He's romatic most every day - frequently leaves me notes or cards when & where I don't expect them, took me to my favorite restaurant a couple of mights ago, he's sent flowers just because....

he does the laundry. It might not sound romantic, but after a long day at work it's one less thing to worry about.

one day, a guy I had been dating came to my house one night with a set of bicycle pedals and some tools in his pocket.. I used to ride my bike a lot, and he had noticed one of the pedals was broken, and he just came over to fix it for me.. just like that. It was something real simple ..but it touched me .. I fell in love right then and there. LOL

Mine wrote a thank-you note to my Dad last night, expressing his appreciation for all he does for us. It meant a lot to me.

this was an ex....when my brother was hospitalized last year I ended up getting really sick about the same time...I was drained..he came over just to take care of me so i'd get well...he brought orange juice, cough drops, tissues, medication...brought me some food...and just took care of me..then didn't get mad when he caught it..

oh that was so sweet of him, what he did. My hubby is not very romantic either. i remeber one time he came to wait for me in the airport h brought me a flowers.

He wrote me a poem and a serious one for once. Eric is always making funny ones to make me laugh but this perticular day he made a serious one

One Sunday morning my husband had to work overtime. He got up before me and brought the Sunday paper in... Left it on the table.

Later he called to see if I had read it yet and I told him no. He said have a cup of coffee relax and read it. So I did and inside the rolled up paper was a pair of diamond earrings. I thought that was sweet.

I had been looking for a pair of small diamond studs and was saving up for them. He knew this and went and bought them for me.

The sweetest thing would have to be the little things. He will work hard at his job all day and carry the laundry upstairs for me if my neck is bothering me. It always does little thing such as that. It is very endearing after 15 years.
