It's been a coons age since we did the tea and scones thing out at the tea and scones place. The Queen said she had lots of gossip, and new news and such. I put cherry AND grape jam on my scone. Being self indulgent, ha ha, I didn't notice what the Queen put on hers. In fact I didn't catch any of the gossip or news. I saw folks in the shop I'd never seen before and wanted them to be exposed to my paperback novels so I held one in each hand and moved them so everybody could catch the title and cover art. And then before I knew it the Knights whisked the Queen away, she had finished, and so I loudly read a scene from The Joan Crawford Murders, aloud - the scene where Joan and Ester Williams have a race in her pool. It got a nice round of applause.
And that was my tea and scones with the Queen.

KING PETER!
you are such a good man Sire
In fact, it was the fastest tea I've ever had, short of actually burning ourselves.
Hmm.
Then I now REALLY wonder what it was she was talking about. I wonder if it was important.
ha ha
So I just wrote novels.
Life is amazing.
The tea shop had all sorts of jam, and butter, but I just did the two. And the tea didn't need cream or sugar, it was a very nice "slow growing" black tea from Turkey that was naturally sweet.
