Sorry I have not posted, replied to emails, or...

...and am behind on my groups again! Yesterday concluded the end of a 54 hour (no the #s are not reversed) work week for me. That is my second week this month with overtime, and I am a part time employee. Today begins a 50 hour week, in addition to which I will be photographing a wedding on Saturday, which means about 10 hours in one day for the photography. I will be driving tomorrow (after a 12 hour work shift) from Riverside, OH to my parents' house St. Marys, OH, (69 miles) where I will spend Friday night. I will then spend 10 to 12 hours on Saturday photographing the wedding, which I believe is in the Van Wert area. Then, I will drive back to SM, and then Riverside that same night. (Fun) The money will be nice, if I live to spend it! :P Brian and I got a new apartment and have been moving our stuff during the last two weeks, as well. Getting the place was kind of an ordeal, as we had to pay rent at our old place for the whole month in addition to the deposit and first month's rent here. On the upside, our rent here is lower than our old place. We are saving $230 a month on a bigger, cleaner, safer apartment at a complex whose staff is friendler and more helpful than at our old place. This means our rent will actually fit inside our budget now! ^_^ However, moving is always a pain, and it has taken a lot of time and energy (mostly Brian's, as I have been living at work!) and now we have all this stuff to sort and put away. I am still working with my friend (the one with the home problems) to help him get out of his situation, as well. We have come up with a strategy for him to become independant and escape without giving up his late father's possessions, and he is taking the first steps in that direction. This is still quite an uphill battle... he is not allowed transportation, even for job hunting/work, and his bike was damaged in the original ordeal so badly that it cannot be ridden... but he is toughing it out and pounding the pavement, and I think he is going to make it. Things are looking better all around... we have 4 new employees at work, which should settle things a bit there, but the manager is going to have knee surgery next month, so I will be working for a sub and am not going to get any time off for 6 weeks. Hopefully, the surgery will help my boss out - she has excruciating knee pain right now to the point where she can hardly walk. (And I can't complain too much about my hours... despite health problems that should disable her, my boss works 50-60 hours every week.) Anyway, I will be back and posting pics and articles and making obnoxious comments again, just as soon as things settle a bit. If you posted in one of my groups and I haven't commented you yet, know that I haven't forgotten about you, and I will get to it as soon as I can. ^_^
