This was taken more than two hours after the fall.

When we woke I went to check on the caterpillar afraid of what I might find. I didn't see it at first... only the three others that are a bit younger. This was a hopeful thing. If it had moved then maybe it was okay afterall, right?
I looked more struggling through the thick netting. There it was. Our beautiful CHRYSALIS! The little one made it's chrysalis over night. My guess is the videos were the early struggles of going into the chrysalis stage.


Okay, so that's a relief. Now what? Do I hang it up? (I think I read they need GRAVITY to properly form) or do I leave it alone other than to feed the three that are in there with it? (They have plenty of food for at least 3 days maybe more)
One danger down. Now we have to be careful while the magic happens.

how ever you choose to do it cant wait to see their hatch we dont have monarchs yet I will be putting some swallow tails in to watch soon
