You've planted many seeds,
Some you cannot see.
Many went into the ground,
And many more went into me.
The flowers have often bloomed ,
And all the plants have grown
And though many clouds have loomed -
I think...well, so have I.
Now your garden grows some more -
A perennial indeed.
For where you sowed two,
Those two have given seed.
I hope my thumb proves as green
For the two that I have sown.
For one day we may see
MY garden just as grown.
