Yesterday, I went on an elk viewing trip to Hillman, Michigan. It was a beautiful day and the elk were out with their new velvet-covered antlers. I thought you'd enjoy these pictures!

Tabitha, aren't they magnificent. Bruce loves elk. When he was a boy his dad would take him elk hunting but now, he just loves to watch their stately strength. He as evolved !
Great pictures, Tabitha! We'll be coming up to Traverse City (Young State Park) area in July for camping and some site-seeing. Probably another visit to Mackinac Island as well for a bike ride around the island. Love that place, and love summer visits in northern Michigan! Looks like you must have had a great time seeing the elk!
