Hi all,
It's almost the end of my reviewer interview series, so I'm going to
be sending you the links in sets of three.
Today I have for you interviews with the editors of Blogcritics
Magazine, Bitten by Books, and Armchair Interviews.
Find out what what you need to do to review for these sites or submit
your books for review.
Blogcritics (all types of print books):
http://blogcritics.org/archives/2008/06/24/142328.php
Bitten by Books (paranormal ebooks and print books, no children's):
http://blogcritics.org/archives/2008/06/24/003058.php
Armchair Interviews (reviews print books in 43 genres, including
children's):

These are three great names to add to your list of resources.
Blogcritics receives about 50,000 hits a day. Armchair interviews
about 2 million hits a year. Bitten by Books is a new site, but it
looks pretty good and already the site reviews about 100 books a
month. Bitten by Books and Armchair Interviews also offer a wide
range of promo opportunities for authors.
I hope you enjoy the interviews! I also invite you to leave a comment (not here, but on Blogcritics)! I'll be giving away great prizes, including a Virtual Book Tour from Pump Up Your Book Promotion, and a one-year subscription to Foreword Magazine. Many critics too often forget that criticism is supposed to help, not hurt.
Lewis Black
I recall years ago stumbling across an Internet critic featuring a bullwhip and the 'rawhide' snap when she reviewed a book. Many people, it seemed, found her snappy retorts and witty insults funny.
It the old days, a gulf existed between actual literary critics and people with an opinion. Now, with the Internet, everyone's a critic.
"Bitten by Books and Armchair Interviews also offer a wide range of promo opportunities for authors."
I read on one (POD) site a couple of years back where an author could buy a great review from a "New York Times list" author for only $495.00. But, they said, if you act now. . .
Indeed.
