Harley Davidson Museum Opening in Milwaukee

The first official Harley Davidson museum is opening in Milwaukee on July 12, 2008.

Given the impact that Harleys have had on popular culture, it's hard to believe there's not been an official museum before now.

I'm so far away fro Milwaukee that I don't really think I'm going to get to go here anytime soon, but it warms my heart to know there's going to be a museum for my favorite bikes.

On display for the opening will be the first known Harley Davidson motorcycle, serial no. 1 !

Very interesting that they just opened the first museum on Harleys considering how long they have been around. Must be a fun museum to visit. We're not big on motorcycles but my son has a Harley bicycle.
