I have received a submission concerning politics. I have been mulling it over and cannot decide whether it should be posted here or not. Do you want articles about politics here? It's a good article, but I think there are alot of groups to post articles about politics and it might "muddy the waters" a little. Comments?

I think you may get swamped with articles about politics and "muddy the water."

We need to stay focused on the constitution.Our congress is not staying true to the laws of the land.[or the constitution.]need to get people in to government that will follow ths laws instead of making up their own laws

I have to agree, assuming that the politics does not in and of itself pose a constitutional question issue. There is something to be said for a "focused" group.

Two trials. O. J. Simpson, and R. Kelly. + 1 mopre
After the Simpson trial one of the black jurist spoke on public television in regards to the fact that he would have voted to aquit O J no matter what the evidense said, as he uttered enuendos concerning history. In such a case, under such circumstances of these post case comments, the juror should have been brought up on charges and the trial should have been retried. That is the way the law should be.
In the R Kelly trial, what happened? Videos proved his guilt.
In a fairly recent trial in the Atlanta, GA area a black man was on trial for mudering a white woman. He was hired by the woman's husband who was a prosecuter. The first trial ended in a hung jury. One black man on the jury spoke before the news media after the trial that he wasn't going to say guilty on a "brother." He was not charged for any crime. He should have been.

I hardly ever follow politics

If you are waiting for your article to get accepted please be patient with me. I read each article to determine whether they are within group parameters (but not for POV, I do not censor people's opinions) so I need my brain to be functioning on a certain level to do this. Right now I am so tired I am having difficulty spelling words like "certain", thank goodness for http://suggest.aspell.net/ ! Please be patient and I will get to them when my mind is working better (ie: I am fully awake) and can give your article the attention it deserves.

i think that you should post it. i mean all the groups are different and one more wont hurt anyone. i would love to read what you want to ppst! so why not give it a whirl?
