Super Simple Summer Sipper: Cool Cosmos

I must admit, I'm a little late to this game, so if you've already experienced the joys of a "Cosmo In a Bucket", please forgive me. But for those interested in an easy, fun, and festive summer cocktail, I'd like to recommend a delightful little concoction you buy at the store and create in your icebox.

My mother introduced me to this concept a few weeks ago. At first glance, I was not impressed. "You've got to be kidding, you want me to serve drinks out of that thing?" I think were my exact words. But I should know by now to always trust my mother. "Just try it" she said "It's fun!" I had nothing to lose, so I dumped the vodka into the bucket, stirred, and threw it in the freezer. The next night we had a festive frosty fiesta!

These cocktail mixers are sold in buckets in a variety of flavors including; strawberry daiquiri, mango daiquiri, margarita, strawberry margarita, cosmopolitan, mojito, and pina colada. They provide the mix, you provide the alcohol. The mixture eventually freezes into a sorbet-like consistency which you scoop from the bucket right into your glass. Great for parties, the beach, the boat, or just your own backyard!
