If you are looking for a great way to save some money, time and effort then I strongly recommend you take a look at this little homemade soap recipe. It is a way of recycling your own homemade soap to make it go so much further. Soap is sadly one of those things we tend to take for granted, however this project proves that soap has no limits, and can be of great value if you are willing to open your mind.
As with any recycling project you are required to get yourself a recycling bin, tin or bucket. Basically all this means is that you aquire a storage unit in which you will be saving the little pieces and bits of soap that you would normally throw away. You can save up your own homemade soap pieces or other soap pieces until you have enough to fill a couple of cups. If you would like to try this homemade soap recipe before saving up then you can grab some of the soap you already have and break it into chunks as the ingredients for your first try.
What you need:
A few cups of soap pieces.
A blender.
Scented oils (optional).
Coloring (optional).
A tin, bucket or other storage device (an empty hand soap dispenser works very well if you wish to keep it in your bathroom).
What you need to do:
Throw all your soap bits into a blender with a little bit of water.
Slowly chop all the soap bits in the blender, adding a bit of water and short intervals until the mix turns into a pudding type substance.
If you choose to add some colorant or scented oils then now would be a could time to add it. Only use a little bit and mix well.
Pour your liqiud into a bucket that has a sealable lid or into a hand soap dispenser.
Enjoy!
All that is left now is for you to enjoy your hard work. You can use this soap as regular bar soap, otherwise I heard some people even use it to wash floors, cars, workspaces and much, much more by diluting the mixture with a bucket of hot water leaving the area clean and with the fresh smell of your choice. Remember to keep a lid on your soap however and seal it tightly, otherwise your entire bucket will dry out. There you go, save time, save money and effort with this simple and easy homemade soap recipe.
