Why did the chicken cross the road? Upon seeing Mildred fall from the chicken truck, Chuck squeezed through his crate to jump to her rescue. Each of them landed on opposite sides of the road. Fortunately it was night time and rush hour had been over for several hours. So, Chuck crossed the road to get to Mildred and they lived happily ever after. :-)
