I would like to ask how many of you smoke? As a smoker myself I am curious what kind of a cross section do we have here. If you are a smoker have you ever tried to quit or will you just continue till you die like me.

People say they'll smoke till they die and a few do, but most actually quit about the time that their emphysema is so bad they have to go on oxygen. My sister in law and brother in law fit that perfectly. They are now both on oxygen!
Both my mother and my husband were chainsmokers - 2-3 packs a day. My mom quit, when the doctor told her in no uncertain terms she had too. It was hard for her at around 65. She had tried several times - even quit for 5 years once - it was very hard for her to quit.
My husband never quit, but had no problems with it.
My son smokes, but has cut down.
I lit up last year and it literally made me sick. I've probably inhaled enough smoke by working in our bar - restaurant and being around heavy smokers all my life that I am a smoker by association.
Smoker's rights? Well, seems that went the way of Marijuana.
I don't mind if people smoke as long as it's in a well ventilated area or outside. A smoker that asks before lighting up is a person with real manners.
I'm a non-smoker.
im no quitter either, Rodney
I am a non-smoker although my health has damaged by exposure to second-hand smoke. Smoking is not a right.
