Hi

 

Anyone feeling lonely tonight and want to chat.  Open forum, anything goes.......well maybe not anything  LOL   But I don't know why but Saturday night being alone is I think the worst.  I just seem to really feel it more on Saturdays.  I guess I still think of it as "date night" or "couple night" and here I sit alone. 

 

So, anyone have anything on their minds, complaints, issues, whatever, come on in.

Well, I'm alone tonight and have been alone all day. I thought I would actually like it, but I'm starting to get a bit antsy. My son started his first job this weekend...and my husband is working too. After their jobs they are working a special job together and won't be home until around 2am. Its been a bit wierd...lol...but I got a heck of a lot of housecleaning done...:)

Date sites huh? I met my hubby on the internet but not one of those, it was via ICQ. One night I just opened the conversation up to anyone who wanted to chat and received the perverbial "Hello", but with a Texas accent...hee, hee, hee. There he was!

They always say the graffiti in women's toilets are worse than men's, so I guess this would apply to the internet.

My divorced girlfriend experimented with one of those sites met a guy who was interested and asked her out to his house. Of course she didn't go but instead she asked to go for coffee somewhere public..she never heard from him again. Ughh!

Yeah I can understand that. I am worried a bit about this new one of mine. He had expressed interest to stop at my place (although he only knows what city) but I througt he had hinted about maybe meeting some place today but I may have been wrong. Having trouble reading him.

I can understand Wilma too, I babysit my 5 year old grandson and there''s never a dull moment around EXCEPT in the morning...he LOVES to sleep in.

I was just thinking I wish I was alone and then I read this, makes me appreciate my husband a little more.

I personally enjoy my quiet alone time. This past Saturday I actually sent my hubby off to go to a city-wide street party and I sat and watched all my recorded shows and the new ones on TV......I read, I take walks when I can, I sit on my porch and people watch, there is soooo much to do to not feel lonely...especially on SAT. Nights. Make all your plans for those days that way you're never home alone on that day again......or go watch a movie, call a friend and chat all night, go window-shopping etc....so many things to do---hope you have found someone or somethign to do for saturday nights now since you posted this.

Thanks everyone; well Kitty it is always easier for those to enjoy alone time if they are not alone 24/7 but yes there are days that I am fine with it but when you are alone all the time except for working, it is different.

Angie...you're right. It is different if you're not alone 24/7 my daughter is proof of that she is a student in Florida and her room-mates left for the summer and she is alone with her dog and she gets lonely so much and calls me every day several times a day and I sit and talk to her and she says the same thing when I make suggestions for her to do so she's not so lonely....she says it's different if you have someone you KNOW will be coming home sooner or later rather then sitting there KNOWING no one is going to come through the door....how sad...i'm sorry and feel sorry for you.....hope my prayers will help.
