I'm so glad I have a good husband! I'm not really able to get up and down on my own, can't really walk too well without help, and going to the bathroom is impossible without help. My husband has been so great. He's helping me do everything. He's here to help me get up and down, take me to the restroom, bringing me water and food, checking on me, changing my bandages, taking care of our 3 1/2 yr old, and not complaining about any of it. I'm really glad to have such a sweet hubby here by my side taking care of me after the surgery.

I am glad your husband is helping you. I hope you will heal quickly and will be able to get around on your own again. Until then, get lots of rest and enjoy the extra attention. I hope you aren't in too much pain.

BTW, it sounds like yours & mine are related. I have ALOT of idiosyncrasies and he puts up with all of them! After 19 years I figure he's a keeper! Sounds like yours is a keeper too! G-D bless you both!

God Bless you both. My husband was wonderful to me after my surgery too. I think it actually helped me to heal faster. We are the lucky ones.

Jill I forgot about your surgery dear. You will be okay, as you said he has proved to be a good husband. Donald had to go to work and could not stay with me, I was flat on my back and could not get out of bed at all for 3 weeks. I was at the mery of the world.

One of my older friends came and fixed me some breakfast and cleaned up her mess. Would put the bedpan under me, Get it cleaned up and go home. She was 10 years older about 69. I thought it was sweet of her.
