I rejected the invite from friends and used my time painting all day indisturbed and continue tomorrow on my newest large painting (Spring Charm).
It is based on English gardens. But today I had the company of a film and music cd's that areabout ancient Rome and ancient Greece. As I prepare myself for the exhibtion in North of Italy, Lago di Como (Varenna) at the end of August this year, I felt good with all these warm mediterranean references.
Also, the rainy weather in London, welcomed for our little garden, inspired me to organise our first holliday for the summer in Catalonia and Languedoc. Unlike John Walter, who, having aparently enough for the moment of the South of Spain, fled away in the Norvegian Fjords.

Another year we could even be on the street ... but now ... considering lasdt year Kenneth could even loose his life ... Anyway, everything will be transformed into new paintings.
