I took the grandkids to the park yesterday. My granddaughter, Zoe, got on the swings and yelled to me..."Nana, watch how high I can go."

So I watched and snapped these shots.

I remember swinging really high like that. And once I had the stupid hare-brained idea of jumping off the swing from that height. Never did that again, I can assure you! :-)

That was the very thing that got me into gymnastics, tumbling after leaping off a high bar or swing. I used to see just how closely I could reach the sky on my grandparents swing at our family's bungalow colony up in Ulster Heights, NY back in the later 60's. It was such fun and Zoe is going just as high as I used to. Brave soul ! cute too !
