The Boxmasters - GREAT new band. Give this a look and let me know what you think?

Who are the Boxmasters?  They are what I would describe as "Hillbilly Rock and Roll".  If you like Rockabilly or 50's rock with a country edge (like early Elvis), then head on over to their website and poke around.  Oh yes...I forgot to mention that their lead singer is non other than Billy Bob Thornton.  I just got this cd to review the other day and absolutely love it.  This might be the best new cd I've spun this year.  Their are actually 2 cds - one of all original material and one cd of cover songs.  I think you will be surprised on the origanl material, which was for the most part all written by Billy Bob Thornton.  Head on over to the website below and let me know what you think of this band.

Oh my, that was quite a fun trip into musicland. From their photos they also look very energetic. I really like Rockabilly.

I'm from a musical back ground though, Both of my brothers play classic Rock and my husband plays drums. Not for money or nor are they in a band. Right now my brother and his wife live with me and my husband and the 2 guys go out and play outside for fun. They thought about starting a band but just dont have the time. Both of my brothers had been in a band years ago. With family and work they kinda got out of it.

I like the combo of hillbilly rock but it is a little too much hillbilly and not enough rock for me but it is pretty good!
