Tax Incentives For Renewable Energy Sector More Than Pay For Themselves

Plans for 2nd Largest Wind Power Project in New York Approved
The New York State Public Service Commission has approved plans to build what will be the state's second largest wind farm, the Marble Rivier Wind Project, according to a recent press release.
"Given the fact that fossil fuels are becoming increasingly expensive, and contribute to
greenhouse gas emissions, it is in our best interests to foster the development of renewable
energy sources, including wind power projects, whose output can be delivered to the electric
grid," said Commission Chairman Garry Brown.
Horizon Wind Energy LLC and AES-Acciona Energy NY, LLC will work together on the project.
