I seriously had to argue More than once with the girl at Subway about this.
First time I went in i ordered a supreme pizza. s she asks what veggies I want and I tell her.. so she puts them all on and then the cheese and goes to bake it.. I ask aren't you going to put the meat on it. She says.."no it dont come with meat.. I said WHAT.. she said our supreme dont have meat.. I said yes it does it has pepperoni and sausage.. so she rudely just put it on there.. I thought she was crazy for this.
SO the next time I go in and order a supreme pizza.. and she says.. "oh your the one who gets meat right.. I laughed and said yes its a supreme supremes have meat.. she insisted theirs only has veggies.. I asked then what the heck is the cheese pizza for..
I said I can order and pizza or sub and get veggies RIGHT.. she says right... I say so why nt order a cheese pizza for 3.99 and add my veggies and there ya have it.. A VEGGIE pizza.. So I want a supreme why dfo you think it costs 5.99... CAUSE IT HAS MEAT.. there is a guy behind me and so IM soo mad now that shes trying to make me look like an idiot.. So anyways I get over to pay and she charges me 5.99 for a supreme and adds 1.00 for the meat.. I said wha the ehck did you charge me a dollar for.. she said the meat.. I said " A SUPREME HAS MEAT! she said Not ours.. our supreme is a veggie.. I said says who.. she said thats what the new owner told her.. SO I asked for manager and she was not there so I got her number and went to my van and made the call..
I asked the lady nicely "can you tell me what goes on a supreme pizza.. her first response was Pepperoni, sausage.. I stopped her there.. I said your employee charged me an extra dollar for my meat on my supreme becasue she said you told her a supreme was just veggies. The lady apologized and I told her I said.. "im taking my phone in and I want you to tell this lady what a supreme has on it.. so I did..
I got my dollar back and the employee felt like an idiot.. which she should have for the way she made me look!

I think you did exactly what you should have done . Talk to the manager. Then if that didnt work go above her head.
Sorry you had to go through this experience just to get something to eat. I think the employee could have been a more polite, than be short and curt with you and or asked someone such as her manager if there were any questions she really didn't know the answer to.
I would have called their corporate offices the next day!
One thing I will say is that Subway has a very high turnover rate and doesn't bother to train employees well. Also, alomost every co worker I had in the two years I worked thee was brain dead and very rude, it must be a Subway thing.!!
Subway has pizza? Ours just have subs.
