As should be obvious from the title, this is not about economics.
Our son is a ballroom dancer and my wife likes reality TV so... we watch "So You Think You Can Dance".
Joshua, who is a fantastic Popper (a street dance style of quirky almost robotic movements that is quite fascinating to watch), has been amazing at everything he has tried on there so far. Tonight he and his partner did some awesome Broadway moves. Again, I just can not believe his movement and energy. If this guy doesn't win, I will be totally dumb struck.
On the flipside, Chris, who is quite a formidable and accomplished dancer, once again proves that White Guys can not do some things, like "Krumping" (this appears to me to be a very aggressive form of street dance). I have never seen this dance before, but even his partner Comfort, who is a Hip-Hop dancer, didn't seem to get into the spirit of it.
It could very easy spell the end of Chris and his partner on the show. That's too bad, but you have to do everything they throw at you, and only 1 person can win. I thought that Comfort might actually make it through to the finals. She still might; we'll see tomorrow night.
I can't believe I just wrote this,
The Hammer
