The first thing that I noticed about the zoo was how it was landscaped to be a PARK with animals inside that park. Really cute set up.
The next thing I noticed was the geese! I never seem to be able to get good geese photos. Perhaps today would be different, I thought.
At first I saw these two geese and I cautiously took photos of them with my full zoom enabled so as not to scare them off.

I followed them a bit still keeping my distance.

I got closer to them testing how close they'd let me get.

Closer yet. Then we saw a feeder and MORE geese.

While Clint and Gideon went to feed the geese I snuck up to the goslings. Ahead of me 2 kids ran through the geese scattering them about.
Well, I guess I didn't have to take the sneak attack, now did I?

The adults watched me closely but didn't seem too worried.

I began getting a bit closer unsure if I was pressing my luck.

There were goslings of all ages there. I don't know how many there were, but the park was crawling with them. So many beautiful families.
These were the youngest goslings I saw there. Still yellow and brown in color. It looked like the mother had 9 of them!

The mother of these young ones wasn't so sure of me, but she didn't hiss either.

I took as many shots of the little ones as she and they allowed.

This is probably my favorite shot of them. When I got the photo in focus everyone was behaving. Then as I pushed the shutter this happened: The older goose snapped at the babies. Look at that little one running! Poor thing was so scared.

I believe this is another variety of goose? There were one or two of these white ones.

The mother and her 9 goslings.

Hey, mom wait for us! We want to eat, too!

I think you might be able to count all of her goslings in this shot.

The white goose again.

A couple older goslings. Bigger, but still cute.

Going for a stroll.

I hope this one didn't have a broken wing. He (or she) held it's wings like this the whole time I was there.

A nice family near the pond. Notice the one parent keeping an eye on me.

The other parent seemed more interested in sleep. Perhaps he was saying it was HER shift now?

One of their goslings.

I'm still being very closely watched.

Stretch that leg!

Their goslings.

Going for a little walk.

I decided I had bothered them enough, and we still had more animals to see and a graduation party to get to. It was a delightful visit, though.
