My dr. appt today

Well Im moving along still.. IM about 2.5 dilated.. said the cervix was moved forward or something so I probably did lose the mucous plug but I could go a few weeks after that happens so its not as cool as I thought :)

He said she would probably be just a tiny bit smaller than my last born who was 8lbs 8oz.. also 2 weeks early, I also realized they scheduled my induction for June 27th 2008 instead of June 26th.. He is in surgery on Thursdays is why.. So if you want to change your guess in the baby poll then their is still time. He said to walk alot and have lots of sex and Id probably have her earlier.. lol yes he said that..

The walking did it for me with all three of my kids. Give it a try. Not to much longer Tiffany. Can't wait to see her pictures when she is born.

Wow hon, I'm sure you are ready. I've always heard that the walking and sex did help but didn't realize that you could have sex this late in the pregnancy. What the heck do I know? I don't even have any children.

Getting closer!! That's so exciting.. walk and eat some Chinese food. That's what my best friend did with her first two pregnancies.. she walked probably a mile a day for a week..one day we stopped for Chinese food on our walk, and that night she went into labor.. so the next baby, when she was getting close to her due date and was feeling real uncomfortable, she decided to go walk to the Chinese restaurant again..and she went into labor again. LOL could be coincidence.. but ya never know LOL

I can remember the last week of my pregnancy - at my last doctor appointment, two days before my due date, I said, "Make it start or make it stop, I'm sick of this!" At the time, I had been having contractions every night for several hours, then they would just stop. I was convinced they were real contractions.

They checked me and I was at five cm. They broke my water that night at seven and I had J at 9:30...

LOL Tiffany, get it on w/your S.O. then! I find t hat funny that your doctor would say something like that to you, but then again I have heard it does help. A little over a week left, I am so excited for you and your family and can't wait to see the little one.

Well doc that might be all well and good but I liked to sleep before I had my son. And he was 5 weeks early.
Although the stress and sex is what I had him early. I helped a main library move and then move my house.

Countdown is on! You are looking so ready. I'm wishing you a fast and easy labor with no complications.
You can remember what I always tell my daughters when they are about to deliver:
"Wouldn't it have been easier to buy a puppy?"
"Now you know why we taught you to count to 10."
Aren't you glad I'm not your mother?
I've had hairbrushes and the like thrown at me.
I was really serious with them during labor, but when I knew delivery was immenent, I liked to kid them just a bit. They get their mind off of the pain for a few seconds anyway.
Please let us know when the new precious bundle arrives. I can't wait.

LOL Your doctor reminds me of mine. After months of bedrest with both of them, and he gave me the green light to be off bedrest, he turned to Joe and said you can have all the sex you want to now. Now go home and have some fun. LOL I loved my doctor and Joe did to on them days. At that point that is the last thing you want to do. But a man would not understand that.

I hope it's soon! I moved the piano and rearranged all the furniture, and then went into labor the next day. I wouldn't recommend that for everyone though...

Today they said I was 1cm dilated on the "inside" and 4-5cm dilated on the "outside", and that the inside just has to catch up with the outside. Not quite sure what it means but at least it means I'm dilated. LOL. The baby's head is RIGHT there. The midwife said it must be torturing me to be so low. (And it is!) I am not scheduled for my c-section until mid July but doubtful she'll make it that far. It is hard to walk!
