Angel's Author's Cafe Wednesday 6-18-08

Lunch and supper service today is based on a Chinese menu theme...  Do try the Chicken Egg Rolls... it is my own recipe and they are so soooooooo yummy...  crisp and crunchy on the outside and full of savory veggies and chicken on the inside.... with water chestnuts to add a little extra crunch... 

Try a couple with a bowl of Wonton Soup, Corn and Crab Soup, Sweet and Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup or along side a plate of Stir Fry made with Chicken, Scallops, Shrimp, Beef, Pork, Yak or Bison, with the veggies of your choice....  Try Bison stir fried with water chestnuts, mung bean sprouts, sweet peppers, mushrooms and snow pea pods....  That is one of my favorites.....  Or be adventurous and try it with Yak...  it tastes like a cross between goat and beef... very tender and savory.

Supper service will also include tableside Chinese Fire Pot....  Another of my favorites and a great way to spend a couple of hours with friends... It is so relaxing and fun to skewer your tidbits and let them simmer to your preferred texture in the bubbling fire pot of broth.... Enjoy it with rice, noodles or cellophane noodles...  so yummy....

Of course, all our regular menu items are available and Chef will take any special requests....  Dim Sum will be served throughout the day and into the night until the last one leaves and turns out the lights and locks up behind themselves...
