Yesterday as I walked around the perimeter of the flooded area snapping pictures, it was obvious the waters were starting to drop.

My two markers for the waters both show the decline.

I also found these air conditioners were no longer in water nor was the patio furniture.

There was a TV 9 crew out to take a boat trip around the areas under water, and the usual onlookers.

I was looking on and managed to visit with the guy on the bike.

I found my baby bunny that had not tried to flee the flood waters. Still munching away. I was worried because the day the waters were the highest I couldn't find him.

Another find was this bicycle which was completely covered with water before. It doesn't look like it will be worth much.It is laying on its side with the reflection making an unusual picture.

There are a lot of dumpsters that look like this as the wait for the trash companies to be able to empty them.

A common sight is large pumps pumping flood waters. I have no idea where they are pumping the water to.
These pumps are on a street that looks like this.

Also on that street is the house that looks like this just before the area flooded.
It looks like this now.

Further down river the Iowa City Press Citizen took this picture of the much used Park Road bridge which was under water a few days ago. This is some idea of all the debris that is waiting to be cleaned up.
