GETTING MY FEET WET...

Ystad is on the Baltic Sea. Through the centuries it has been Swedish and Danish by turns. Ferries go to Poland from here. And the wind blows relentlessly...

No palm trees here - birch trees instead! Right on the beach!

In some places, roses grow almost right down to the water.

The water is very clear here, and it wasn't cold, but the wind... let's just say I needed a jacket, and no way was I getting more than my feet wet...
But I would like to go back for a walk anytime!
