Last Wednesday, I went "flightseeing" for the first time. It's sightseeing from a small plane that takes off and lands on the water.

We left from Anchorage, Alaska.

We were the third group to go up that day, and the first two groups saw Beluga whales. The tide had gone out by the time we went out, however, so we didn't see any whales. We did see moose, as well as seals sunning themselves on the warm mud.

We could see for miles.
Here are some shots of the terrain.
After 20 minutes, I thought I was going to throw up. Really! I have never had a problem with motion sickness, but the combination of the pressure on my ears from the headphones teamed with the lurching about of the little plane in the winds was almost more than I could bear.
It was worth it, though, to see Alaska from the air. It was so beautiful! Pictures just don't do it justice.

I was REALLY bored ;)
If sickness gets the best of you a pressure point is
just in the wrist area, push not to hard if the hand is
cold or white that is to much. It can help you feel
better
Gorgeous photos, not sure I would want to ride in that plane though!
