Flood Water (Haiku)

Even in the midst of flooding I try to find the positive.  It is and has been sunny for 3 days now and the water is begining to slowly recede.

Flood Water 

 

Sunny skies, cool breeze

Flooding below my dwelling

Receding slightly

 

 

This is at the foot of my hill.

Dan, I have tried to keep a record thru pictures of the daily progress in this flooding situation. I did not have any water in or around my home but am so close. Actually if I don't look to the right when I go outside I almost would not know this was all out there. I am so lucky.
