Declutter/ Children's Rooms

Before a child is born we tend to furnish their room better than the older child
because it is  far easier to arrange, clean and tidy up.
Then after 3years old things become very different, and room seem daily like a bomb
has landed and time to sort out the clutter.
So maybe this is the time to have a plan, just like in the other rooms in the home,
with base units, lots of baskets, and name places for all large and small toys,
to make things simple at the time of tidy, when children are reluctant to put
their toys away, and rather leave them out.
Also when toys are broken I know how difficult it is trying to pursuade your child that
it has to go, to make room for new toys, or it goes well on into adulthood.
Like many there is not pots of money to spend, so second hand furniture shops
have lots of units, that can be painted bright colors.
Or budget stors, we love so mauch now, have lots to choose.
In the last 20 years the child roon design has become big business for many people,
who think children should not be left out, and are are an importent part of the household,
though wisdom from the parent is important,  to make sure the child is able to
sleep in the room.
