I am Doing My First Gay Wedding Tomorrow

Last week I told you I was sworn in to perform civil marriages. Well, tomorrow I am scheduled from 8-5 so it will be a long day, but it should be fun.

I haven't told my Church because they would disagree with my decision and it really is none of their business since I am not doing it at their Church.

Happy marriages to all regardless of orientation!!!

I'm happy to hear this. I wish civil unions were regonized here where I live. My partner and I will have a ceremony of sorts some time next year. It may not be legally binding , recoginized, or have any document attached. It will mearly be, us declaring our commitment and love to one another, with family and friends in attendence. Perhaps one day we will be able to have a civil ceremony. Till then we have each other and thats what truly matters.

Pretty uninteresting posting. As I read it...
1) You have a civil service job.
2) You perform the duties of your civil service job within the description of the law.
Yeah, that is dull.

Oh, and laws are not made to be moral. Nor morals necessarily legal.
