Republicans-Agents of change?

A republican they had on Foxnews the other day, said they (G.O.P.) were reaching out to Hillary suppporters because they (G.O.P.) were agents of change.

PLEASE!

If they had their way the N.F.L. would never have developed the forward pass.

We would never have started inter-league play in M.L.B.

Finding a Republican who is an agent of change?

You better off trying to walk a straight line in Rio de Janeiro!

What will the other side offer? Obama is only going to raise taxes, and give my money to some bum who thinks the government owes him something. To think of McCain as a republican is to think Obama is going to good for the country. Insane!

Republicans are agents of change. They want to make this a theocratic state and remove the Bill of Rights (except the second ammendment). They want to make the U.S. an imperial nation. They want to exclude all minorities from power and access to freedom. They want to radically increase the national debt (as proven by the increase in the size of that debt under Republican Administrations. They want to ruin the middle class. They want to eliminate opportunity for one to rize in social class or fall in social class. They want to enrich the rich and impoverish the poor.

All these are changes and a radical assult on the American Dream of freedom and opportunity.

Democrats have their own ways of subverting.

Obama SHOULD raise taxes! How much longer do you want to continue these insane deficits that EVERY REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT has imposed since Ronald Reagan?
Don't raise taxes, you say? How about stopping our spending on stupid wars instead?

People are worried about Obama raising taxes but most folks in reality are not in the tax brackets that he is thinking about raising- they don't make that type of money. I know I don't and thus don't worry about Obama raising my taxes.

The republicans that are trying to make changes are fighting the old core repulicans. They are the Ron Ppaul republicans.We are trying to change the platform.We would like to get our country back on track. That is not going to happon with Obama or McCain.

Fred R -- There are some conservative Dems too. And you're right, it's easy to be conservative as long as you have everything you need. But I'm not sure that means having nothing makes one a liberal. Not every conservative is without heart or conscience.

I consider myself a liberal, and while I am probably not rich by Republican standards, I am comfortable, financially secure and independent in my retirement.
I intend to vote for Obama.

I like McCain but I haven't heard anything new from him. He is pro-life, pro-war, pro-big business. That is the same-old, same-old of the Republican philosophy. I look to Obama for real change. I've read his books, and they give me a good idea what changes he wants. Whether he can get them through congress, and imbedded corruption will be hard.
