How many emails in your box - jun 16

Hi all...I was not on yesterday...one of the computers in my house get hit with a virus. It took me hours(literally) to try and fix it. My daughter had told me that some hijacker thing kept popping up. I went in her room and saw it and I realized her spyware program had expired and I ordered Spysweeper w/ antivirus..hoping that would save the day without all the dramatic steps...well things got worse!

Everytime she tried to sign in...it logged her out. After about a hour of trying I gave up, went and got the recovery disk...and did the total wiping of the hard drive. I didn't want to, but I was afraid partial wasn't gong to work. That took me nearly a hour and a half..then I ran more scans to make sure ....that took me an hour...By 9 pm....I finally got her machine back!

BTW, thru all of this...we had my inlaws over!

So I believe Long Island is in for some yucky weather today....Saturday night we had some storms come thru. We had the cool looking lightening and the dramatic rainfalls.

I am probably going to delete the gather mails and start fresh! I have now about 500! I am sorry!
