Today, we've had sunshine, rain, hail, all manner of clouds and we've seen the end of the rainbow!! It's not on Moon River, it's right here at Skidway Lake. Quick, make a wish. Make two, it's a double!

Here it is - the end of the rainbow, touching the ground straight across the lake from our house. It looked as if cars on that road were driving right through the rainbow. Note the hail stones in the photos.

Looking up, we saw the rainbow shining through the hail storm.

During the storm, everything appeared to be much brighter than usual. The shot below is one I took just before the storm. I can see how "the calm before the storm" came to be a popular phrase.
As I write this, the sky is dark and cloudy with sporadic lightning flashes south of here. Who knows what wild, weird weather we'll have next? This is Michigan, after all. Anything can happen in a matter of minutes.....!
