During my visit at the Franklin Locks, I always see fish jumping out of the water. Some are pretty big size. I can never seem to capture them in a picture. One day I do plan on video taping them. As it happens often enough to do so. I see fish that are tiny in size, to medium and huge. It really depends on what part of the river of the locks I am looking at to find which size.

Let me give you a close to be able to see a fish.

This is what I really hate seeing.....fishing gear left in the water. I am hoping it is hooked to something under the water and not a fish who will slowly starve to death.

You are so right about that. It not only affects the fish but the water fowl as well. Basiclly all animals in the water. I have seen turtles loose fins, alligators loose a leg and manatees suffer.

Yes, I do realize that sometimes it just happens. Like when that big fish gets a way. But I have also seen many things myself to know people do this stuff with out a care in the world.
