Rains and Floods (haiku)

 With flood waters so close to me I am wondering if my home will be spared. I pray it does not rain more before the Iowa River reaches it's crest next Tuesday.  It is going to be heartbreaking for so many in my area.

Rains and Floods 

 

 

Flood waters raging 

Water inundating homes

Rain drops dash each hope
