Making The Best Of This Flood, For Now

Well today was interesting to say the least.  There was a constant stream of sight seers past my place, turning around in our drive and parking in our lot where they shouldn't be, all to see the flood waters.  My neighbors and I decided to make the best of it by sitting in lawn chairs out in our front yard near the drive.  We watched the flood waters, drank beer and told people it was $5 to park.  No one took us up on it.  They just turned around and left.  Oh Well, tomorrow is another day.

Wow Audrey! That happened here a few summers ago, and now we are a major drought. We could use all that water here.

Oh no, so much water, how awful! I'm glad you and your neighbors are making the best of it. Maybe tomorrow will get some takers on the $5 parking :-)

George, it wasn't just ladies, there were men sitting with us too. Of course one was married and one was gay. Oh well.
