Mystery Plants and Flowers

Some time ago I published an article about a mystery plant. While I got no identifying answers, I now have a flower to add to the puzzle. So here is the plant and then the flower. Please help if you can.

This is the flower, up above. I think it resembles a hollyhock flower. Any ideas?

This daisy-like flower is white, with a purple center and when it buds it is also purple, opening up to this. In growth habit, it is a low-growing bush, almost like a ground cover.

So far this one has no flower, it is growing in almost complete shade. I really love the look of the greenery but have no clue as to the name. Help me if you can.

Thr top one might be a malve (holly hock or ose family) , or evem an hibiscus.
The white one looks like an african daisy.
The succulent - I'm not familiar with.

I have no idea, I never seen varigated leaves on hollyhock before. Hope you get some answers this time around.

The first one almost looks like variegated mallow, but I can't be sure. The second one is osteospermum, otherwise known as Blue Streak. I am clueless on the last one, but I like it.

Oh by the way, Wanda, that flower is the smaller ground version, but related to the sunflower.

I'm impressed. I think the first one looks like a short hollyhock also. I also have the blue one in my flower bed. I bought it 'cause I liked it. I didn't know what it was, but thanks to Rosa now we both know. The last one looks like something I've seen in a forest, but I have no idea what it is. I'm sorry I wasn't more help.
I haven't a clue. But they sure are pretty.

Rose, I believe you are right about the variegated leaf plant, I think it is a hollyhock. I am doing some more research on it. I thought it might be too, but I didn't have any other clues until it bloomed. I have never seen a variegated leaf hollyhock. But I am thrilled. We actually saved another smaller plant as well. So we might have seeds this year for this beauty.

Wanda, does that first plant come back every year? It's a perennial? I've seen that Osteospermum, it's pretty! The last photograph is a bit fuzzy...so I cannot tell! For some reason I did not think of a hollyhock, I thought of some type of Pulmonaria on the first one. I hope that helps?

the variegated plant with the hollyhock like flower might be a Lavatera arborea 'Variegata' or the Variegated Tree Mallow. see website http://www.flickr.com/photos/orphanjones/451272387/in/set-72157600056877502/

White daisy with purple center could be Dimorphotheca pluvialis (L) Moench See website http://www.plantzafrica.com/plantcd/dimorthothecapluvialis.htm

As for the last one the closest thing I've found so far is cinquefoil see website http://www.ontariowildflower.com/manitoulin_limestone_beach.htm doesn't seem quite right though but will keep looking.
The top one is definitely a lavatera, which I've heard people call a tree mallow...

Such great minds on gather. The variegated one is indeed a Tree Mallow, variegated leaf. The other one is an African Daisy, an osteospermum.

The green leaf one is still un-identified.
