My son graduates tonight!

I am so excited.  My son graduates from high school tonight.  Of course it is outside at 6:30 and it is 100 degrees today.  It is well worth it to see him walk the stage.  It is a great accomplishment for him, and I feel like I played a big part in getting him there.  Through all of his challenges, he has completed all of his requirements!  There was a book that they said he did not return, and wanted him to pay $65 or they would not let him walk.  I personally turned that book in, when he was away over six months ago.  They gave him a big hassle about it for a week, but I called the school and suddenly it appeared.  Well, it is a go!  Yipee!!!!

As a teacher at a High School and a parent who just had my daughter graduate 4 weeks ago, I know one thing too often we forget to congratulate the parents..............Congratulations you need to feel proud!! Yea for you!

Amazing how that happens. My granddaughter wasn't getting her report card since the end of last school year. They told my son she had a parking ticket. I thought it was very interesting, since she does not drive, nor does she have a car. She finally got her report card last semester.
